John Cratchley It is a singular mystery to me why JIC are not more well known. Maybe terrific musicianship, wonderful improvisation an outstanding sonic palette and an abundance of adventurous musical ideas are out of 'fashion'? If so, i'm extremely pleased to be part of a lucky minority. I regard this music as a prize discovery.

jicarc_05 Embrace the chaos
Category: Nice

As long as Bandcamp will let me, I'll make all the JIC archive stuff free / pay anything you like.

This one has different versions of some tracks that have appeared elsewhere but it seems a nice collection to me and it's getting to the point where I struggle to compare them anyway. It doesn't help that I randomly think of new titles for some. Still, my archive pile isn't getting any smaller. If memory serve me right (and it often doesn't) this was probably one afternoon sometime around the time of the Harmonia festival in Spain.

I think Phil's guitar sounds especially lovely in this. RIP mate.
